Glad you have considered and covered all options I have to agree with Skymum, amazing progress I like your outside flight. Are planning to cover it's top with a transparent sheet? Looks like sun was out as well thank you for your kind words oh yes the flight will be covered..keep the cats off and also other bird droppings..

I must say everythings looking great and your progressing well....... your doing a brilliant job . We built our aviary in Sept/oct and loved doing it , we have our aviary panels ready to go up when the weather gets better

so this where the breeding cages will be.. heating tube in place..have to take apart again to paint.... so skirting still to do, paint loads of bits inside the bird house,and perches to make for bird house,outside flight still couple of bits of wire to do..gravel the floor, and do the roof....so we are getting there...14 feb is the date set to be done..birds in 16 feb

I have a VERY old book by Phil Drabble and he says in the breeding section, quote....St Valentine's Day is the traditional time for birds to mate in this country, and is as good a day as any to introduce your pair of budgerigars A couple of days late wont hurt . Now WHY isn't it finished yet Seriously though, brilliant progress
