I bought the aloe spray in the end and i think it may be working along with ignoring the feather picking....Each time he does it we ALL leave the room (including Ned the dog) and as im half way through the door Elf looks and gets down on to his perch not quite there yet but A WHOLE lot better than a week ago

Moogie there are sprays you can get specifically for feather-pluckers. With Elfie only worrying one small part of his feathers, you should be able to spray just this area and see if that works. If he starts elsewhere, stop, but I feel it has to be worth a try.

I used one of those sprays and Roswell seemed to think it was a condiment!

I bought the avix rain....he hates being sprayed full stop but i am getting him when he is in his cage he he

Aloe tastes pretty horrible anyway .......... it may work the same way.

Oh Sam,he isnt doing it half as much but he still has a go but we all just jump up and walk out of the room and 99% of the time he stops straight away,so major improvement....i took some pics (below) this is what he has done but it goes all the way under his wing-poor little scrap..
