Hi all, apologies for the late update - I thought I'd put a long post on earlier but just realised I must never have pressed send and then shout down the browser my mistake - doh! Will take a while to re-do but will type again and be with you soon

Ok, here we go.
Just made it to the vets on time after taking a wrong turn, luckily my trusty sat nav guided me through. I think Rocky may now have added "recalculating" to his repertoire though lol
Rocky had a little fly round the consulting room as a starter and then the lovely lady vet gave him a thorough exam. Felt for lumps and listened with stethoscope front, back and under each wing. His poops from the journey looked pretty good to be honest so luckily I had some previous samples Rocky had prepared earlier, so she could see what they'd been like Sat and Sunday.
She said the yellow urine and wet staining could be indicative of liver disease but as he's so young, a good weight (50g), bright and lively and poops now returned to normal she didn't think that was likely. She thought the squeak was normal (I don't necessarily agree but maybe it is just a new noise he's picked up). She did ask if he'd been sneezing and he has, very occasionally.
So basically she thought it was just a bit of an upset stomach, we don't really know why. He's to ahve probiotics (avipro) with his food and if happens again I'm to phone her and he can be booked in for blood test straightaway. She didn't think was necessary to do at this point as he now seems ok.
She did suggest it might be worth testing him for chlamydia, I just have to collect poop for 5 days and then I can post off to them. Not sure about that one - I guess it's worth doing to be safe - what do you guys think??
Whilst all this was going on Rocky climbed up to her shoulder after the exam and sat there quite happily taking it all in, learning more phrases for his notebook probably! He really was a very good boy.
So, I don't really have any answers but at least it seems its nothing serious. I'll be keeping a close eye on him and hopefully will be no further recurrence, fingers crossed no more trips to Bedford for a while!
I'm very relieved it's nothing serious and I think Rocky's pleased to be home (at the moment he's screeching at Paul while he's trying to work on his laptop and having great fun)
Thanks again for your support everyone xx

Good. I hope that's the end of it then! "Recalculating!" lol.
(It's a pain how far away avian vets are. Mine's a 3 hour round trip too. )

Rocky says thanks guys, and yes, I am a very good boy! (Recalculating, recalculating) He had an early night after his very tiring day. I tried not to be jealous today while he sat on the vets shoulder and preened her hair, think he's going to be a bit of a Casanova, little tyke lol

Some good news, then, Tracy. Good for Rocky winning over the "enemy" . Probiotics can only be a good thing for him. If he were my bird, I would be getting the chlamydia tests done, just to be sure. It's not something you want hanging over your head ........

Get the tests definitely, if the vet thinks it's worth ruling out then I'd go with it- she seem's to have been very thorough and knowledgeable on other aspects of his medical care. So pleased Rocky is on the mend now and nothing too worrying going on. Well done Rocky!
