FINALLY! I cant tell you how long I have been trying to capture this, but Wiggy is a bit...camera shy. Lately everytime I get the camera anywhere near him he turns his head (sigh), but persistence has paid off and.... look! Orange chops! About time he started gorging on carrot to get Vit A. Needless to say, he didn't look like it for too long (cant be seen to be mucky like the teenagers) Heaven forbid!

Gorgeous Wiggins! You eat your carrot like a true connoisseur! I don't blame you for now wanting people to see you eating or straight afterwards, I wouldn't want a camera shoved at me like that either

Wiggins is such a handsome boy. Love those soft grey feathers. Good boy eating his carrot.

Shhhhh!!!!! If you hadn't let the cat out of the bag, I would simply seen it as part of his beak. Now I know he too is a "mooky (mucky)-poop" ..... just like all the rest. Good news about the carrot, though. I thought you just didn't love him any more, that's why no photos ......... Sam I love your little birdies in your signature.

Thank you guys I have not forgotten him Hezz! I know there hasn't been many pictures of him but anything new he is a bit like "oooh dont want that, thats devils food" ! However I did get some new perches this week, and hedged my bets as to who would be the first to go on it....turns out I was wrong in all cases! Even down to thinking Wiggy would never be the one who would go on them. But this is how I thought it would go... Alfie, Murph, Barney and Wiggy.....not at all Turned out... Murph, Barney, Alfie and then this when I uncovered them this morning! Obviously it has the seal of approval as it is great to be roosted on Glad mom knows some things are best for them

Very few people realize that Cinnamon Grey budgies are very gorgeous. Wiggy is certainly on the top of list

Oooh Wiggy you beaut. He looks so regal and composed - if he was human I can imagine him having a very posh English accent

I have know idea why Wiggy is a "cinnamon" grey though.... either way he is a beaut. I contacted a breeder a few miles from me and asked if he had any greys as I would like to increase my little flock by two. I thought a grey would be just the job. I also rather fancy the idea of a yellow faced something or other to add variety. If only I knew / understood the colour varieties. It seems so complicated itll take me forever to catch on.

I know you hadn't forgotten him - he just isn't a poser like the others! And just when you think you have them sussed they will surprise you and act totally out of character. Wiggy! Is he any good on a bike?

Is he any good on a bike? Not a bike, but his party trick is sleeping horizontally?! Thanks for your comment btw about my little boirdies down the bottom, one for each of my feathered monsters

Wiggy is a cinnamon because of his wing markings - usually they are black and white but his are like a brown (cinnamon) and white. If you are interested, I found this link particularly helpful when learning about colours and mutations: Budgie Place
