BudgiesBuddy, can Lemon be a double factor spangle? His eyes are black with a ring. Thanks! As the budgies cannot be split for Spangle, I don't think he is a DF Spangle. He carrying Yellowface gen in a way which is hiding his base colors. I think dilute is a reason as well. This is a budgie which I would love to see in person

These are his siblings, except for Fluffy (name speaks for itself). All his siblings are carrying Yellowface, which tells about the trend.

Gorgeous George is not wasting time and neither is the missus widow! I'll have to think of a new name... she's hardly widow anymore! What about.... Kate? (We've already been through the Dutch monarchy with our Chinese quails

I was not too far off then thinking he was a dilute, although this was ignorance more than skill. You are most welcome to come and have a look!!! I can also take further pictures, if you explain what you are looking for.

My birds don't all have names... I know, slack as but there are 14 budgies, 7 diamond doves, 4 quails, a finch (Rusty)and a great number of chicks during the season. The children used to name them which made my job a bit easier, but they have lost interest The budgies had names of vegetables and fruit (depending on their colour), and the quails were of Dutch royal blood! The doves have never been named, although I know them individually by their antics. Perhaps I should go through a list of popular names and start with A.... yeah right! Kate is a certain, as is Gorgeous George (who have two eggs now... ) This leaves about half of the birds unnamed. Where to go next???

Marleen, I think your lemon budgie could be a yellowface greywing spangle(sf) looks to have those genetics from his parents, his mother could be a split greywing and his father definately appears a yellow face greywing
