Hello Goldie! You're beautiful!
Re age, sorry I'm not much use - just know that cere going this colour indicates that she is in breeding condition but I think this is an episodic occurrence.
Others will tell you for sure.

It could also be her FIRST Breeding Condition which occurs around 6-7 months . She will come in and out of condition throughout the year and will be generally noisier and a bit full of herself .

That makes all the sense in the world. I was beginning to feel it was me. One good movie and a show should set her right. :0)

She is in breeding condition.
Budgies become sexually active at 6 months old, but they should be bred after one year of age.
Normally we can tell about's a budgie age from the eyes, but Goldie is a Recessive Pied, so it's not possible to tell if she is one year of age yet.

Nothing to say she couldn't be older, is there, BB? ? No there isn't. But they have a 49 days breeding cycle and it was mentioned in the post by GoldieNYC that he had her for 3 months and it's the first time she has brown cere, so I thought that it can be her first breeding condition, which makes her under one year old. A few close up pictures of head, cere and feet will give a fair idea of her age.
