Such a fantastic sight to have right there on your balcony! And such polite birdies they are too Although I have to say, you are very brave going out there. They are HUGE!!! I was so tempted to give them a little stroke. Will I, won't I, will I, won't I. Then I thought I might just be pushing it. They are wild birds after all. Those huge beaks could so easily chomp through a finger. Even so, they were very gentle as they accepted their nuts from my hand. They really were so gentle taking their treats so I can see why you thought about giving them a wee stroke. Amazing video, thanks for sharing

I'm so jealous of everyone who lives in places where the wildlife is so spectacular! This is amazing, such beautiful creatures.

How did I miss this. What a fabulously awesome video. They are incredible! I am moving to Sydney straight away! Amazing how tame they are, but like you say plenty of time in their lifetime to get used to people. I wonder if they will become a more permanent feature now that they know there are nuts on offer at the Stace/Boo residence.

That must have been a really fantastic experience stace. You are soooo lucky and I am very envious, sulphur crested cockatoos have always been a favourite of mine. You may have more visits hopefully, as you obviously run a very good birdie breakfast bar!!
