Now I have increased my flock by 6 I think the open feeding platform should be changed as I don't want poop gettin in the seed
Can anyone recommend a good feeder I have a problem with outside cage ones minus the clips cause my bat spacing is a lil bigger then normal To min fights how many feeders/ drinkers should I have Winne normal attacks the others if they r feedin lol I really like my platform feeder it's from natural bird company it's a double one but the budgies have been sleeping in it even when placed at the bottom of cage which can get poop on it :-(
If anyone has good links that would be great :-)

These outside ones might be suitable as the way they fit would suit wider spaced cage bars too I would think: I posted about them here

I use these. The seed feeder can be used inside the cage, and can also be attached from outside.

I like these seed corals because they don't poop in them and the food doesn't get thrown outside. I can just wipe the top with a cloth and some vinegar. I have other small feeders above some ordinary bowls too. I think I might try the one on the right budgiesbuddy posted. I tried the one samwiseg posted but must have build it wrong it leaked out all the seed. Had to throw it out.

Sorry but I must be really thick - how do you fill them up? Is it from the outside phoebe?

Yes, from the opening. I take it off the cage and sometimes use the vacuum cleaner to remove shells then refill. When I take it off I slip the two metal things in pocket, don't want to throw them out. At the end of the week I put all seed left in a big bowl and pass the vacuum again and fill some cheap feeders with it. I have some cheap feeders that empty out mostly on the ground of the cage. Ideally I'd like to invent some kind of thing I can use with the vacuum to get rid of a higher percentage of shells. You can't fill it from outside the cage so I use a big plastic spoon to add a bit each day for the week.

I need to figure out a way of getting some of those feeders to malta.
My kakariki make such a mess. They have a habit of using their feet to kinda of push the food backward and than forage it off the floor.

When my friend at work comes home to Malta next to see her family I will see if we can get one over.
