hello, can anyone tel me plz the gender of both my birds? the first one (the one who is winking ) is adam and the other is eve. did I guess right? (sorry for putting links but I couldn't upload pics through another way :S) another thing, I've got them 5 days ago but they still afraid of me, especially eve. how can I make them trust me and not run away to the other side of the cage every time I come near them.

Two hens. Are you able to get them some natural branch perches and ditch the plastic ones? There are plenty of on line stores that will make these up to your own specifications or you can source them direct from the trees. Plastic are not good for their feed, don't trim their nails or give them something to chew on.

The area above the top of the beak where the nostrils are,is pale brown coloured.A cock would be blue/purply blue.

I did notice something around her mouth but I thought that was normal :s should I return her to the pet store? or is treatable?

It is treatable and you will have to treat both birds as it is contagious. You need to get ivermectin. Where are you?

Lebanon :S the problem is that one of the birds is still afraid of me and every time I come close to the cage or put my hand on it she starts to flap all over the cage or run away to the other side of the cage =( so I can't catch her to put medicine on her
