no wonder such a pretty baby then... i wish I had known Bailey as a chick and seen him develop.. too cute What a lovely pair, the parents. Beautiful all round. Beautiful chick, parents and aviary Thank you very much everyone. Here is a wide angle picture of the aviary. Compact but perfect for my needs Having a look at him today, the parents came to give the chick a feed! Three generations in this picture (chick, mum/dad, grandpa!) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What a great photo! You would think that Mum was not happy about something the chick had done, but we all know mothers can look fierce, but be as soft as butter inside.

Yes, she should be fully feathered by now. Yeah. I've double checked my dates. I think it was because my male was refusing to take the EMP egg food I put into the aviary. I've now tempted him closer to it with millet and vegetables so has now started feeding the chick with it, so hopefully growth should accelerate in the coming days. Still nice and healthy though. She is going to be a pretty little thing, when she does. She is exactly like my Skye Thank you both! From looking at his/her chest, there doesn't appear to be any yellow, so the pied factor hasn't spread that far. Just going to be solid blue. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
