He looks so cute peeking out of his travel case. Where did you get it from? I think I got it from pets at home. It's a ferplast one meant for small animals. I put a ladder inside with millet clipped to it, and if it's cold, a hot water bottle at the bottom.

Oh and after the vet clipped his beak and used the dremel to file it, Custard bit him No wonder the poor Custard was traumatized by it all!

This looks much better for birds to travel in than a little cage as I wonder if the movement of the car could make it difficult for a budgie to stay on a perch. I have used a little cage for budgies in the car, but they seem a bit wobbly in them.

I put a small non-fluffy towel at the bottom. Important that it's not fluffy, so they don't get their claws caught in it.
Also partially cover it on top.
Wish we had a car! we take our birds on the bus and underground to the vet!!
