I've some photo's from yesterday but my phone isn't playing and they keep failing to upload, will keep trying.
All four needed help getting in last night, they weren't sure what the hatch was but they all ended up inside with a little help.
This morning I've decided to bring Cora inside, she is struggling not only being unable to fly but that coupled with a 'new world' is making it hard for her. I think her right wing is sore, that seems to be the one with the most missing flight feathers. I've had a look and she lets me hold her wing out so I don't think anything is broke, maybe just sore from bashing it when she was flying about with the night terror. Poor love.
So I've brought her back inside, and of course Quentin - they can't be separated they are obsessed with each other. So I'm back to having 3 in the house. Naughty Harold who is inside on time out is happy they are back though. I just want Cora to rest her wing a little, and then I'll monitor how she is flying inside before letting her back outside again.
Ida and Henry have taken to the aviary like pigs to muck. The pair of them are in the thick of it all the time; into everything. It melts my heart to see them chirping about mingling in. They both look so tiny still in comparison to the others. Cora and Quentin are currently singing away to the radio in their cage as I type and they seem happy, Cora just needs a little more time that's all.
Don't worry Hezz I will keep on with the updates
When Cora, Quentin and Harold are all back out, I don't know how i will feel not having any budgies in the house; it was September when Shirley and John came inside so it's been a long time. At least they are all happy, apart from Harold
