Why? - is it a case of not being able to export certain chemicals to your country?

Let me check if I have a picture in backup. I don't have the package any more and these pictures are from my online folder.

How weird that they would make one without the vits in it. Welcome to our world Even some famous multinational companies have different strengths of shampoos and washing powders than west. Just because they are multinationals, doesn't mean they do the right thing if they are not legally required to do so.

Someone brought me a famous brand of shampoo from USA. The quality was a lot better than the local version but the packaging was same. Although "Made in..." was different on both bottles. You already know about the Trill example.

That is so wrong. So they skimp on quality to make a few extra pence out of another country?

I wish that there was something that could be done about that. It's so unethical

"Greasing the palm" - it happens everywhere!
"to grease somebody's palm - to give money to someone in authority in order to persuade them to do something for you, especially something wrong"

I wish that there was something that could be done about that. It's so unethical Nothing could be done about these companies. They have relations with politicians, state heads etc in developing countries It has taken many decades of continuous and persistent consumer pressure to get consumer protections in place in the West. Even still, sometimes companies get around it here by doing things like re-registering themselves in other countries or selling and starting up under another name, so they do not have to pay compensation when caught doing the wrong thing. It is the same with animal welfare laws, or any other similar protections as well. It takes many years of moving public awareness, then opinion, then governments to make incremental changes over time.

That's so right Stace. We maybe 50 years behind. Maybe a little less because of Internet and online stuff these days.

Here is what the back of my Avia packet says: I have given them some this afternoon and they have gone nuts for it.
