I think so BB. It says that they are in the husk of the seeds.

Got my guys some of this today in Asda, if Marianne's Bud's are anything to go by they should be doing cartwheels on the wine rack soon ;D. Hope it may boost old Jo Jo up a bit and help him through this horrible French Moult.

Less wastage because they are eating it all between them. Plus Asda Overcharged be so due to their overcharging policy I got £2.00 back when I complained! One has to be super savvy in these tough times!

Hi, it depended where i was shopping to be honest, Trill if in supermarket but if i was in a pet store i would buy their own loose or the bags of Best Budgie but it never says whats in that stuff so i thought id give them a go on the Avia. Years ago we only ever fed our Budgies on Trill but there seems so much choice out there now and the pricing is very competitive. It looks good stuff though be interesting to see if it helps Jo Jo a bit.

JoJo probably needs more protein. Are you giving him Egg?

No I've not tried him on egg, i will give it a go. Ive increased the fruit and veg but not gone down the protein route. They are a bit fussy with their greens, i tried the herbs but they wont touch them, quite a strong flavor i guess if they've never had them before, their fav is spinach, and fruits. Will do him a boiled egg.

Give him a taste, keep a bit for tomorrow, and eat the rest yourself. Remember it is the yolk with all the goodies, eat the white yourself. My budgies aren't too keen on herbs either. Basil got a nibble a few times, but that was about it.

Yes as I said not as cleanly as seeds. It would be difficult for any budgie, not that they don't like them
