Sorry my last post didn't work - I was trying to respond on my mobile while I was out, but it didn't quite work out that way. Thanks everyone for your responses!
To DazandLoz: That's lovely that you got in touch, thank you so much! I think Joy would really love to have a companion like Charlie. I feel terrible that he has to sit alone in his cage at the moment when he's such a sociable little thing. I live near Brixton, is that anywhere near yourself? I now need to work out how to post pictures up on here...hmm, or shall I email you some photos?
Thanks again, H.x

Hi Hazel.
I live on the Hampshire/Berkshire border near Reading. Do you have any transport as I could meet you near the south side of the M25 perhaps? I can meet you either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon time around 2 - 3pm
I'll PM you my mobile and email, would love to see some photos of him.
Kind regards
Darren

I love it when there's a happy ending. To post pictures you have to past the code from an image hosting site like photobucket.

Hi everyone! Joy is back now having some peace and quiet having been on the trains and in the car, bless him. I have dressed his cage up budgiepop with new perches, toys, swing, and his mirror that you gave just so that he has something to chat to whilst in quarantine. I will leave it a few days before I start taking photos just to help him settle. budgiepop did send me 3 photos so I will post those later this evening, but looking at him, he has an olive green chest. I will try and get some better photos so that the pros can give me a definitive answer as to his mutation. It was nice to meet you budgiepop, and please be rest assured that he will be lovingly looked after, and once quarantine is over he will be placed beside Charlie so that they can get to know each other for a few days before being placed in one cage. Then when thy both reach 9 months old they will be placed next to the main flight before going in with the adults. I'm hoping that by then we will have moved, and the long term plan is that I will build a nice outdoor aviary probably in Spring next year, with a heated indoor section for the winter months. TTFN
