Hello everyone, I have a lovely 6 month old male budgie (Joy) who desperately needs a new home. He would be suited to an aviary full of other birds, or he would be happy to have a human companion who has enough time on their hands to give him the attention he deserves. I live in London so I can travel anywhere within London, or if you would like to come visit him first we can arrange this. I can also supply his cage, toys, some seed, feeders and perches if that would help. I have 3 budgies currently, and two have now paired up (which is lovely to see), but it has left the 3rd and youngest one at a disadvantage. The older male (of the bonded pair) has now taken a dislike to Joy (the younger male) and they can't be in the same aviary together without fighting. Joy is such a pleasant budgie - especially when he is not being antagonised be the older male! - he loves chatting and listening to songs on the radio. He is the most inquisitive of all my budgies and loves playing. I've put him in his own cage for the moment but I am very short on space in my flat and with a cat it isn't safe for Joy to be out of the aviary. Thanks! Hazel.

Thank you! I feel like I'm in the right place to find him a good home Don't want to give him to a pet shop or anything, then god knows where he will end up! :/ H. x

Whereabouts in London are you Hazel? I have a single 6 month old male who would like a companion, but depends on what side of London you are. My male Charlie is too young to go in the main flight with the adult birds and although they are kept in my bird room so they can see each other, he longs for companionship. I'll be definitely interested.

Hi, Hazel. Sorry you are having to give up your wee fellow, but at least this way you will be sure he will be well loved and looked after. If Daz and Loz can put him up, that will be a great solution for everyone. Good luck everyone!

There are so many things I like about this forum & the rehoming of birdies is just one of them! What happened before the Internet?!

It would be lovely if this little fella managed to keep Dazandloz's Charlie company. I look forward to hearing if this rehoming option works out
