I am sure cam will be just as good at looking after them all especially with his essay of instructions And he will have three days to learn the ways before the Friday, so no excuses. Between the two of them, surely they will manage to spoil the boy suitably.

That's great news about Spyro, you must feel a certain amount of weight being lifted from your shoulders Hezz, they are certainly a worry when ill, but the wee guy seems to be really on the mend.

He really is a little peg-leg Pete. All he needs is a little patch and to learn to say Grrrrr. Pity 'talk like a pirate day' isn't in August! (Sept 19th) I will go into worried-owner mode again when the plaster comes off, but will have five days (four really) before having to leave him on his own for the day.

He'll be getting itchy under that plaster. I remember getting a knitting needle down through my plaster top when I had one on.

He'll be getting itchy under that plaster. I remember getting a knitting needle down through my plaster top when I had one on. When my OH had a cast on his arm as a boy when the hospital came to take it off they discovered loads of pea shingle in there, that his sister had shoved down there?! It did actually cause his skin to go manky and had to be treated for that as well!

Hi, Nina! We only got back late yesterday, and all survived, so that is something. How is Spyro? Doing pretty well, I feel. I can see improvement over the weekend while I was away. He is using the leg a lot now; even walking about on it, rather than hopping on the good and using the broken one as a crutch. The plaster comes off tomorrow, and I can start worrying all over again! On one side there is not a lot of plaster left, but I told the boys not to worry too much about it before I went, as it was scheduled to come off last Friday, anyway. Keeping him calm after he gets it off is going to be a trial.

Aww, good luck for the plaster removal. I'm sure Spyro will be sensible and not try to use the leg like nothing had happened. All the better if he can do just that. Fingers crossed.
