That's positive, skysmum. Remember Nat? She had a bird with a lumpy mass that managed well for a long time.

Nat's last update had Freddy still doing pretty well. He had even gone on to help raise a new family.
All the best of positive vibes and good wishes to you and Teddy, Skysmum. Keep up the good work.

Thanks all . Ohhh Yes i remember Nat's bud, i seem to remember that the lump disappeared externally but some remained inside, is that the one or have i got it mixed up . It would be great if i could just get it to reduce a bit, im hoping that being a fatty tumour the diet and mixture may well have some effect. Here's hoping .

As I mentioned to another member who is going through a growth crisis, at least Teddy's is growing outwards, not inwards, where it could be causing more problems for him, pressing on organs and nerves.

Thought i must fill you in with Ted's progress. Im pleased to say that he is really well at the moment, the tumour though still large has reduced dramatically, its no longer sore and bleeding and the feathers are growing back over it. I have stopped the bicarbonate of soda for now to give him a break and he is just on a high dose of apple cider vinegar and lots of kale which has enabled him to live with old Jo . They do make me laugh, they bicker and argue like a couple of grumpy old men but love each other too. This is a pic of Ted trying to get Jo off of the fav swing by pulling his tail feathers, Jo wasn't giving it up and had to intervene with this one and make Ted get on the other side .

skysmum, this is the best news for some time. Have you been documenting what and how much you have been giving Ted of his mixtures? If not, could you, please? It may be of help if, when, someone else is going through the same thing. I am so happy that things are going well for you both.

I'm sorry to hear about Teddy but great news he's a little brighter! That's so funny trying to pull Jo off the swing, I love budgie attitude!

Thanks guys, im so pleased, if you look at the picture you can now see his feet, at its worse you couldn't the tumour covered them. Im amazed tbh. Id like to think it has been the treatment but you never know if it would have happened on its own anyway. Im giving him a rest from the Bicarb and if it starts to get bad again i will re-start it and probably look at maintaining him on it all the time at a lower dose. The thing with this is he has to be on his own because i don't really want Jo having it unnecessarily. They both have the ACV but that's fine. Hezz, i have it written down on bits of paper as ive gone along, i will put them together when i have more time and document it here .

Very pleased to read that Ted has improved so much. Who would've thought biocarb and acv could make such a difference. Well done to you for finding it when you were doing your research. I hope he continues to get better. Xx
