Thank you, that would be great. It is so easy to forget, when you think you never will.

Ok here is my recipe for treating Ted's tumour. I have to stress that Ted's tumour is a fatty tumour and not cancerous, however its my understanding that Bicarbonate of soda has been used as an alternative treatment for some cancer's. Its something that ive trialled with Ted because his tumour got so large and inflamed that i had nothing to loose as the alternative was to have him pts. His tumour has halved in size and is no longer inflamed and bleeding. I gave him this for six weeks. Ive now stopped the bicarb because im not sure of the long term affects on him and he is now on just a high dose of apple cider vinegar, if the tumour flares up again i will re start the bicarb. Its just in its experimental stages still but im happy to share the recipe if it helps anyone else with a bud who has a tumour. I kept Ted alone for this treatment because i didn't want a healthy bud to have the treatment unnecessarily. Week 1 In 1 pint of water 3 ml apple cider Half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda quarter teaspoon of honey, this is to sweeten it and encourage them to drink it. Week 2 6 ml ACV Half tsp bicarb No honey Week 3 10 ml ACV Half tsp bicarb Week 4 and 5 13 ml ACV Half tsp bicarb Week 6 Reduce dosage 10ml ACV Quarter tsp bicarb From week 6 im just giving 8ml of ACV. I keep the mixture in the fridge and change the birds water twice a day. Im also feeding him Kale most days, this has anti cancer and anti inflammatory properties. Think that's about it, i hope it helps as it seems to have helped Ted

Thanks skysmum for taking the time to do that and post it on the forum. I hope I never have the need to use it, but have made a note of it for future reference, just in case.

I felt compelled to close this thread especially for any new people that may read it.
Teddy passed away peacefully at home on 6th December 2014 aged 10 years. I do think that his home treatment gave him his last 10 weeks with us as when i started it the only option was to have him pts as he was very unwell.
As it was he had 10 weeks of happy quality time with us and was eating and drinking until the end and i believe comfortable.
RIP Teddy 2004-2014.

You did a brilliant job with what you could, skysmum, and it has been a joy to have known Teddy, even if only over the internet. Sleep well, Teddy.
