Long time no post, though he's not really done much new recently. He'll fly to my shoulder way more now, even when I'm just sat watching TV I thought I'd post this picture of him I took as I think its very cute - wish I had a better camera! Also its a good one of his 'sticky up hair'

Heya all, As before been a long time posting.
Big news in my lift since last posting. I moved out of London to Nottingham, getting a bigger house in the process for both Puck and I (in my case for half the price). He now has a 'Montana Madeira 2' which I picked up for £110 in a pet shop clearance on ebay a year ago. He also now has the freedom of the house and if he had his way he'd sleep on one of his play stands down stairs in the middle of the lounge ^_^
A much bigger change for us both is I'm engaged to a wonderful girl I met on holiday in America and (fingers crossed) will be emigrating in 40 days.
I feel like I've looked into every option for taking the little guy with me but doesn't look possible/safe. Despite what their websites say none of the Airlines allow pets in the cabin from England to America. This leaves the only option of 'freight' which is both expensive (£600-700) and I'd image very stressful. On the other side would be a 30 day quarantine stay, among some other expenses.
So pretty much at this point I'm trying to find another home among my friends for the little guy. Fingers crossed one of them will come through for me still!

As for how the little guy has been getting on ... Since moving to Nottingham he's met a lot more people and he is very funny around them. When some new is in the room he'll always fly over to them and give them a grooming, if there is a group of people he will ignore me all night - up until I get up to leave the room when he'll scream and fly to me ^_^ Over the last year he has become happy following me around the house on my shoulder/collar, in a new room he used to last 10 minutes then get agitated and scream. He has stated adventuring out of the room I put him in, though only when perusing a cat/ping-pong ball. He has yet to take himself from 1 of his comfortable rooms to another but he'll fly from a more strange one back to one with a cage in

Hi Matt. Great to hear from you again, but it could be under better circumstances. Wonderful that you have found someone you want to share your life with, but how unfortunate that it has to be overseas away from Puck. I dearly hope you have a needy friend waiting to be asked if they will become Puck's new home. Good luck with it all.

Aw. Sweet little Puck. I'd take him in a heartbeat if you were down here. Congrats on the engagement, but what a shame you can't get Puck on the plane with you.
Keep on posting and reminding people on the forum, as you never know. Someone here might just be able to squeeze Puck in. He's just the cutest little guy and needs to go to a good home.

It's a shame he's so far from me I'm sure something could be arranged. How exciting that would be.
