Puck will be staying with Matts parents. It's great that he will be with some people that he knows, so I am very happy about this.
Less stress for the little fella.

That is good news, Marianne. I hope you didn't get the resso's hopes up too high for another flock member?

As long as Puck is happy, that's all that matters. He's a single bird and they become so attached to their human friends.

Hey guys, sorry I've been gone so long. Things have been pretty busy since moving. As Marianne said, there was a last minute change of plan and my Mum managed to talk my Dad into having Puck stay with them. She was pleased to have a little reminder of me around the house I think. It sounds like Puck has been getting on well and it settled into my parents place. As they are retired and go away quite a bit he has also spent quite a bit of time staying with their friends. Once couple in particular apparently adore him; he follows them all round the house getting into everything. Tears were even shed when it came time for him to come home. I've settled into married life and a new country, I'm now thinking of getting another bird. Having trouble finding any breeders though, the whole 'parakeet' thing doesn't help searching for them. My mum sent me through this picture today I think its staged, else its the first time he's got on there himself

Hi Matt, nice to hear from you and lovely to know that Puck is somewhere where he is getting the attention he deserves. You will have to arrange a trip home to catch up with the little fella, and your parents, of course!

Hi Matt and thanks for updating! Glad all is well with you - do keep in touch and let us know how Puck gets on and if you manage to track down another feathered companion to join your new family
