Yes, Morgan I did try to give Tweetie Pie his medicine on food but he wouldn't eat it. The vet says he'll probably feel more secure being with Buddy and eat it especially if Buddy eats it first. She said it won't hurt Buddy. I need to give the big cage a good cleaning today and then I'll open both cage doors and let them get together. Good news - Tweetie Pie is feeling great today and full of energy!

Yes mona they did. Tweetie Pie kept jumping on the front cage bars trying to get to Buddy - broke my heart to see it!

mona the vet said he looked a lot better with more energy. She said his poops looked good. His saliva was a bit thick so she said put his medicine on a treat and continue to give him some for another month. If Buddy gets some, it won't hurt him.

I thought I'd post an update on Tweetie Pie. He is doing better. I haven't seen him regurgitating but I've seen the evidence. He's either regurgitating late at night or early in the morning but not much. I see only around 5 seeds. I put in a clean paper on the bottom at night so I can tell what's happened overnight. I'm converting him off his seed diet but its going slow. Currently he loves the sprouts along with the greens and herbs that he's always eaten. I'm now trying to get him to eat broccoli by mixing it with his sprouts. He only gets 1 tsp of seeds a day as recommended by his vet and I'll give one bauble of millet as a treat.
He and Buddy have almost settled back to the behavior they had before I separated them to treat Tweetie Pie.

Glad he is doing generally well. It's good to hear! Have you tried tenderstem broccoli? I've found that to go down much better than normal broccoli. I think it possibly looks more like grass seed heads.
