I find that binge watching police procedurals helps me with escapism. We're re-watching Bones at the moment, it's on amazon prime, the whole 12 seasons! I also enjoyed Bosch and Unforgettable. The Magicians is there too, although not a police procedural

I love a place to call home. Just finished Virgin River, Chicago Med and catching up on Greys Anatomy. Miss fisher murder mysteries is good, the clothes she wears are beautiful. Harrow is a good crime drama and he is a forensic pathologies and The Brokenwood Mysteries I do like the Australian series. Hezz is lucky. I really don't watch tv much, you wouldn't know it thought

I’ve just started watching Lennox Hill, a large hospital in New York and the neurosurgery has blown me away. They take on cases others won’t touch and do trials also. It’s a documentary series and not a drama but follows the ongoing treatment of patients and focuses on the neurosurgeons, an Emergency Dr and a Chief resident in Obstetrics. Very interesting. edited because I realise you said police procedurals and not medical ones. Need to put my head on straighter today! 🙄

Does anyone watch Professor T? We've just started getting it here. I recommend it as a great diversion, clt80.

I find Professor T a bit peculiar. I can’t decide if I like it or not. House was good Marianne Marlow. I liked Hugh Laurie in that. Last year I watched the entire seasons of ER and loved it just as much as first time, though it really wasn’t as good after the main cast left, even though some came back. suesbird, if you like Virgin River then you’d probably like Chesapeake Shores. I do love a nice easy watch with lovely scenery. I also got right into Greenleaf. I didn’t think it would be my kind of thing as it is about a megachurch in Memphis but the twists and turns were very good and I fell in love with the house. Fell in love with the one in Chesapeake Shores too. I can buy into the American lifestyle they show off when everyone comes down and there’s cooked breakfast, freshly-baked pancakes and muffins, fresh fruit and a pot of fresh coffee to help themselves to, etc., and they all look immaculate with hair blow dried, perfect makeup and not a single crease on their face from sleep! I love a good history drama but if it’s medieval or Tudor I get really annoyed when they change the actual facts. I’m such a nerd when it comes to that. Poor hubby then has to sit and listen to me complain! But for the drama, The Last Kingdom is very good (the books are better) and I enjoyed Vikings, particular the earlier seasons. Love Outlander - the first series had me totally hooked and the last season also was as good again. Hoping it’s back this autumn.

I have to admit i only seem to watch TV in in evening for an hour or two.
We tend to like watching dramas.... we are watching SAFE at the moment, 8 episodes and was a Slow start but it's got going now.
Masterchef is another favourite, Su Pollard has had me laughing last week on it. I still wonder why Gregg Wallace has to shout instead of talk...😁
My favourite use to be Gardeners World but it is quite repetitive when you've watched it for years so I record now and fast forward bits I am not interested in.
We love Baptiste!!! Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't watched all the series.
I may give Lennox hill a try, I like medical documentaries. Best one I ever saw was a double lung transplant, absolutely amazing surgery and the patient was like a new person after it.
Not heard of Prof T, will look into that.

I used to like MasterChef. But I stopped watching it when I saw too many vulgar meals with animals in them in the celebrity version.
Such as a bird within a bird within a bird.
If they did a veggie version I'd watch it.

I remember that murder so well. Can’t believe how many years ago it was nor it’ll be the 20th anniversary of 9/11 next month.
