Thanks all.
Yes I shall post pictures when the newbie arrives, and ivy - I'm not sure about her eggs. I am going to check when I get back, the first couple were infertile and she smashed them. So giving her some time to sit and brood but if not I'm.hopinh they can both rejoin the others outside. Ivy is happy in her nest box on her eggs, but Rupert isn't, its boring for him just standing guard by the nest.

These past six or eight months really have tested your mettle, Cheryl, it certainly hasn’t been an easy time for you, and I feel you have coped admirably with all the negatives that you have had to deal with. Congrats on the end of chemo, tempered with mega sadness for your loss of Lexie. Here’s hoping that the sun shines on your little patch of Earth and follows you around on your travels. There is nothing like sunshine to brighten the spirit and strengthen the body. Take care and look forward to hearing about your new recruit to the aviary. Xx

It's been a really tough few months for you Cheryl. But hopefully now, you can look forward to better times ahead.
I'm glad your away getting some sun, there's nothing quite like it to lift your spirits.
So sorry about Lexie 💝 Look forward to an update when your new little one arrives.
Take care, and look after yourself 💐

It's so good to hear that the chemo is finally over Cheryl and that you can focus on getting stronger day by day. A bit of sunshine sounds like it will do you the world of good. I'm sorry for your loss of Lexie, I'm sure you'll miss her around the place a lot. It's great to hear how your flock are doing. Exciting times with the breeding attempts and new arrival. Shame Rupert isn't on his best behaviour whilst he's on his hols Take care of yourself and enjoy the break xx

I am still under surveillance for 5 years and due a Colonoscopy next month, but this is really positive and I am hugely relieved.
Thank you all for your support and kindness through the harrowing months xx
