Oddly we didn’t hear a thing last night, I expect it to all kick off from Friday onwards 🥴

Some bangs and muted flashing last night, nothing that seemed to bother the Flock ... although Quincy looked up suddenly one time.
I expect everyone was exhausted from a full day of being insufferable little monsters.
Looks like they are intent on being monstrous again today.

My birbs are now engaged in being completely unaware that three cages have been prepped upstairs. If they are lucky and good, they might remain that way!

In our flock of Budgies, Freya seems to be the new dominant one - she is not afraid to chase any male or female away from a spot where she wants to be. Food dish, perch, treats in someone's hand, etc.
Violet and Willow are quiet girls, and it seems like Misfit is trying to be peaceful with them, after being the previous dominant hen.

Chocobo & Quincy are eating egg.
The trick to getting Quincy to eat egg is to fool her into thinkibg she's stolen the egg from Chocobo.
Imagine understanding hen psychology. You have to be directly out of your mind and goodness! I am getting there.

I thought I'd just relax and have my lunch and, whoops, I have seven budgies and two non-budgies joining me.
At this point, you have to suspect a plot ...

Earlier, Griffin and Nimbus were eating some millet from my hand, and they would not let Basil join them. Basil flew back to his lady friend, Misfit, then brought her over to chase Nimbus and Griffin away.

Seven budgies, a cockatiel and a chocobo joined me for lunch.
Chocobo wanted what I was having, Quincy wanted what Chocobo was having and the budgies wanted nothing to do with it!

Next door is having their cavity wall insulation re-done. Weird noises through the walls.
Chocobo is making her alarm call, she knows something isn't right!

If Sprite is in her cage (because the Budgies are loose), she might shout all of the words that she learned: "Sprite", "Good birds", "Winston", "Basil", "Pepper". Apparently trying to see which one will get our attention. She often does this if we give other birds treats before giving her something.

Quincy on my shoulder, Coco on the chair back next to my head, Maddy Prior (!!) on my other shoulder preening me, Boba on my head and Mr Hibs on my finger!
I get the impression I'm getting some overdue apologies for previous bad behaviour.
Maddy never lands on me!
