The vet is very pleased with her, she allmost stopped having sneezing fits untill i said to myself that she had stopped then she didit the other day but there was no blood. He also looked in her nostrils and put her on the scails and she hasnt lost any more weight. He said to keep up with the antibiotics for another 7 to 10 days then i can stop and fingers crossed she will be right as rain again. She has been more active as well but not feeding her toys yet. Also her bad foot is much better, its not red any more and only a small scab. So all looking good

That's all a relief. So did the vet agree that was it overmedication that caused the nose bleeds?

Good news, then, PP. Another 7-10 days of AB's is a nuisance though. Hopefully that will be the end of it for Ada. Hope the foot stays clear too.

He didnt say if it was an overdose or just from her being on it for so long.
Yep hopefully after the 7-10 days she will not need to be seing him for a long time.
Eagle went with ada to see the vet and he just had to come out of the cage as ada was out and the vet took a photo of him and he was impressed he was still doing so good at a year and a half with having beak and feather diease.

Yeah it did, she was sneezing again last night but it was clear, so i got her out and brushed up the cage floor. Everytime she starts sneezing i panic now.

True Mick, but we can be inclined to think the worst once things have gone wrong.

Yeah thanks, eagle is a sneezy budgie and when he was younger i kept taking him to the vet (at £30 a time) because of him sneezing. The vet kept telling me he was fine and its normal to sneeze every so often lol but i panick over everything with them.
