"Fighting fit" is one way to put it! We have a squeaky beak-off every morning and night with the baytril, but I think in that regard we are doing okay. As for the wound, I haven't looked. I don't have to clean it, which is good, so I have been leaving Madam alone as much as possible, which isn't saying much what with holding her down twice a day and chasing her around the room yesterday!!! And because she is leaving it alone I haven't gotten a look while she has been "fiddling" with it either. I'll leave it a day or two and then have a look ......... but I feel it must be or she wouldn't be so active.

Such good news that she is her old self, the little character we know and love!

She is, Sarah. In fact she came out of the vets the same way she went in - full of noise and attitude. But dear me, it is a long way to Friday! She slipped out again this morning. I am trying to be too gentle with her and Madam is taking full advantage! You have got to love it!!!

But how boring! No new antics for today. I did pop Misty into her cage for about two seconds. Madam protested and kicked her out practically, so I took her out again before things heated up. Was going to try Sparky, but Sparky wasn't going to be in that one ....... he had too much flying to do! I just thought she may appreciate a little bit of company ....... guess I was just a little bit wrong ........

Seems everything is going perfectly to plan. What a relief.

I gave her the bigger cage yesterday, and did get Sparky in for a visit ....... that was a different story! Missy practically hugged him when he arrived, and he had all the lines. They sat chatting for ages. Not sure if Misty was the problem or the small cage was the problem, but I do think she is happier in the larger cage. Tomorrow is a week and I will give her a small outing in my son's room. Well, my intention is for a short outing ...... Madam may have other plans. At the moment they are all in Smudge's temporary home supposedly catching some sun - they may catch a rain drop or two, is more likely. And all is calm. Woohoo.

If you didn't know, you would never know the difference. She has not taken a backward step! I am so impressed with her. And I have missed the little girl being locked up, not allowed out with the others. Thanks, Shirl Sam, outing hasn't happened yet, but will update how things go ...........

I gotta say I am impressed with Smudgy's recovery too, she doesn't let anything get her down the little fighter. That shows she has spirit, good girl
