Hezz - can't beat a bit of spoiling, she has been a poorly budgie after all.

Hezz, if you can, I would weigh her every few days just to make sure she is not losing too much. I fully intend to, Marianne. Got her on the scales yesterday (with millet, of course!), and she weighed in between 45-47 gms. Much more little budgie weight, than previously at about 10 gms more! I will endeavour to weigh Misty soon too, out of curiosity- she's a much bigger bird. samwiseg, that's exactly what I am seeing - a fitter, lighter Smudge. She should have gone on Biggest Loser! But I swear she hasn't stopped eating since being back with the others. She was always the last in the flying race from cage to window/window to cage, but she seems to have the edge on Misty these days.

Hope you don't think I am nagging, I am just keen for no one to repeat my mistake of spotting illness too late at the point of no return.

I completely understand where you are coming from. The rate she is eating though, I think she will put it back on faster than she lost it!! Little minx!

We all care very much about our budgies, and that includes others on here. So if we all have that in mind and we all have budgies, we are all FAMILY!
