BTW, you can see the wing twitching here: (Ignore B, looking rough from his moult & the sticky medication around his face!)

It's like he's trying to jolt himself awake, he seems quite tired.

It's like he's trying to jolt himself awake, he seems quite tired. Yes, I wondered if it was balance related, i.e., about to topple but flicks wings to rebalance. He must be tired anyway, as I think he's doing that all night & it's been like that for 2 nights now. He had some pellets a few minutes ago. Without prompting. (I think he's fed up of me shoving food in his face).

Maybe the wing twitching is part of the moulting process. Bot Whiskers and Joey really twitch when they are moulting, usually towards the end of the moult. It looks as though they are in pain like being pricked with the new feather. They really do jump.Is that the sort of twitching that you are seeing sweetpea?

Some of my birds twitch. But they do not look as tired as Caggers.

Sorry I missed the video before posting. It's not unlike what I see with my two.

It's quite a jittery action. Do they lose their appetite too, or eat less?

This last moult the pair of them were really down in the dumps, quiet and yes they ate less. They didn't want to comeout of the cage. I would say it was about a week before they were back to normal.

That's good to know.... well, not good that they get down in the dumps.... but you know what I mean. My lot do get miserable at moulting time too but don't usually lose their appetite & certainly have not had the wing twitching. Hate it when they are not themselves!

I spoke to the vet a few minutes ago. She said she expected a noticeable improvement after the vitamin injection. However as he's not actually worse, & is eating *some* food, we agreed to reassess in the morning, (unless he gets worse in the meantime).
