Hi guys, sorry had to have a sleep after nights (atrb_partsz) What beautiful looking girls. They will keep their names, but they may revert back to just Bodie and Doyle, which was one of my favourite action programmes. Most people on here know that I name all of my birds, and the reasons why. I think every pet needs a name I spoke to SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) and she can't wait for them to arrive. She loves the yellow face, and about a month ago we saw one in a pet store and she asked if we could one day have a yellow face in our flock. I have PM'd you may email and my mobile number mrsfuffsters

I am so pleased that you like the girls and even more pleased that SWMBO is excited also. Its great that you are obeying your nearest and dearest. Perhaps you can give some tips to my hubby when we drop the girls off . A massive thanks to all of you for your support and kind words. This is indeed, looks like it could turn out to be a very happy ending for Bodie and Doyle. We will keep you posted.

Nice one, all round and I am sure the girls will be happy once they get to meet the rest of the flock. mrsfuffsters, I hope your resident male appreciates what you are doing for him. Will you get him another friend, or leave things alone?

Will you get him another friend, or leave things alone? I will lavish him with lots of attention and see if he settles (not the same as feathered attention though) . I suspect he will get a bit lonely and I will end up getting another friend for him. Im going to start gradually separating him now and then hopefully it won't be such a shock when the girls go. If anybody has any suggestions, I would be most grateful. Thank you x

No suggestions for the separation, but I think your idea is good. Another male will probably be more to his liking and only one, when the time comes.

mrsfuffsters we will not be going away this weekend as the weather looks iffy, so I will be home anytime that will suit you. I've just got home from work (03:00 hrs) so drop me a text and I will ring you back when I get up, hopefully around midday. If anyone else has any birds that need rehoming, so long as they are healthy and fairly local, I do have room here. Think I might start a budgie refuge lol
