Good idea starlingqueen. Best put my name down then lol I've just been in the shed reassessing the space I have, and the possibility of a much bigger indoor flight, and using my current one as another. I will not be moving into my workshop which is a 20x10 shed, I will not, I will not...... I must resist....... I think my name is already on a list somewhere, not by me though.

Well the new buds are in their cage, and already destroying the fresh spinach leaves and millet. It was very kind of mrsfuffsters and her husband to bring them all the way over, it truly is greatly appreciated, and of course it was nice to meet you. Bodie and Doyle appear to be in very good health, and the travelling doesn't seem to have affected them at all, however I have put a little Guardian Angel in their water just in case they are feeling any stress. Here are a couple of photos of them.

Oh well done Budgies Retreat, I have been avoiding this thread as I hate to see budgies looking for a new home for several reasons! Thought I would come in late to find them re-housed and you have rehomed them. Great news. Lovely, very handsome pair of budgies too.

Er, 12 or 13 I think. If this other one, Beau, comes along then I'd have to start looking at getting more males, as the male/female swing is tipping to the girls side now

They do look well settled in there. No doubt they will need a little while to get over the trip. You are real stars dazandloz.

Sorry about the photo quality. The green one is a light green olive? cinnamon. She's a bit darker on the wing than my other cinnamon, but definitely brown. The green isn't clear enough to be just bright green, it has a slight olive tinge which leads me to say light green olive cinnamon. The yellow face turquoise is so brightly coloured, absolutely magnificent colours, the camera (phone) just doesn't do either of them justice. I will get my big camera out and get some better shots.

Well it looks like Beau is coming to "Budgies Retreat" also, or should that be "Fawlty Towers" lol. It is a well oiled machine here, all the family know what needs to be done if I'm on shift, so the care never waivers. Fingers crossed Beau will be here next Sunday.
