There is a little dirty spray from both nostrils in that photo - the slight brown marks on the head feathers above each nostril, plus the very noticeable snotty discharge. It may simply be a result of being in the kitchen, if the tops of those cupboards are dusty, or it may be something more concerning. I think he could benefit from a steamy bathroom sauna or two - helps open up the airways, makes breathing easier and may help move some of that discharge.

First a pic. "How'd you get up there, Patch?" "Wasn't easy!" Later, I observed Patch and this behaviour, which went on for 2-3 minutes. Afterwards, he went on with his business, and crashed the weighing session with great gusto (literally - wish I could have videoed it!) 1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh4ZZ-ePVBSb7wIZfGA?e=S2rglTObviously and new behaviour from Patch is a potential cause for concern. I am now thinking it was a case of our old friend, crop management but I was worried and I still have a niggle of concern. Patch's weight is up to 35g from 33g five days ago and 34g three days ago. In the right direction still.

Something does seem to be bother Patch, and maybe he looks a little bit fluffed up. He certainly can't be feeling too bad to have got himself up on top of the door and the light shade. I'm glad his weight has increased/stabilised.
