I’m glad he came out.
If it’s him saying it, perhaps it’s somehow a comforting noise to him. If it’s his body making the noise, no idea.
Eau de Metacam
What does it smell of?

I’m so glad to read that Charlie is still battling and that he has good days as well as the bad. He really loves his snuggles with his mum, bless him. Sounds as if you’ve had a lot to worry about ladybird. I have a good friend who lives in Dubai. They moved to Kuwait in 2016 and spent 5 years there before moving to Dubai last September. They are really enjoying living there and her children have had excellent schooling. They moved due to her husband’s work as they have a great quality of life and he earns much more than he did in the U.K. Dubai is more geared up for the ex-pats than Kuwait and the housing communities sound very safe and are gated. I’m sure your son and his family will settle well and thank goodness for the magic of Skype/FaceTime/Zoom and other such magic portals.

Charlie has had a bad day today , no talking and generally quiet. Ariella, my son went out to Dubai before covid and yes they loved it too. They were there for about six months but when covid struck, Emirates had to let him go because he was only half way through training on the airbus . Now they should be back for good. They too love the life out there. He will be sending me a ticket to visit…..fingers crossed I will be well enough to visit in a few months.

Sorry Charlie hasn’t been too good today. I hope tomorrow will be a better one. I’m sure a nice visit to Dubai will be a tonic for you especially during the colder months.

Not moved much today and doesn’t want the red millet, and he usually will eat that. So I am more worried than usual today. awful when I can’t do anything else to help him. He has been bad before and picked up but usually he will eat a bit of millet.

What's your weather like ladybird, could you move his cage into the garden and let him get some sun, and maybe hear the other birds, might help to boost his spirits a little.

I will put him in the conservatory doorway he usually likes it there in the shade…. He has never liked being in the garden….makes him very nervous. It’s very hot here today…so in the shade and fresh air might help…. He’s very fluffed up…not good.

I really hope Charlie starts to feel better soon. Do you have any of the anti fungal medicine? Maybe that would help?

No I don’t , but he had six weeks treatment of that and it didn’t help then. He just isn’t improving this time with the antibiotics and his poops are very green…..I am so worried about him.
