i have sprayed him before and like your smudge he just sat and looked at me like "Thanks for that i didnt ask for it did i" haha any way sprayed him this morn and hes now having a good old preen....He is booked into vets next weds afternoon...He is himself,lively chatty bright eyed active but any slight change and i will go else where xxx

Poor Elfie! Being wet is no fun for some birds, but at least he preened himself up afterwards. Smudge just sits and looks miserable. First time I thought I had made her ill! Let us know how the vet visit goes.

I'm now going to the vets tomorrow poor receptionist must be sick of me as i kept calling to see if anyone had canceled,any way it paid off in the end,we have to be there at 1:30...I hope the new travel cage turns up but if not i will have to take him in his own cage... I think he is also having a moult as alot of fluffy white feathers are coming out (not a huge amount) but also one of his tail feathers!? i hope it is this anyway....

I'd leave food in and make toys minimal - just a fave one perhaps.
Definitely take out water, it'll only get spilt.

just to let you know i got him in travel cage in a few mins yaay and im talking to him and he is grinding his beak,ive also put a big bit of millet in which he has now gone over to and is chomping away,will he fear my finger now though? id hate to think he would after all the work we put in...
