I'm so sorry to hear that you are rehoming Mr Noisy. It's a very sad thing to have to do.

This is terribly sad. Every time a budgie is added to the flock, there are many kinds of outcomes possible and not all of them are desirable. I can't remember your setup but is there any way that he can keep Mr Noisy separate from the others for a time and then try to reintroduce him? It may be possible to reset the flock dynamic in that way.

Well today has been a lot more enjoyable budgie wise. MR Noisy has been separated and Mango has calmed down and all three budgies were happier doing there normal budgie things. It was nice to see for a change instead of seeing them all unsettled with MR Noisy's behavior because him being stressed wasn't good for the others.
Tweety has been trying to hump Jessie and she/he has been fired up which tells me tweety is more likely a male but they are too young to be mating anyway. Jessie pecks Tweety off her. They are settling down for the night now. It was really good to see them happy.

He has been separated since yesterday morning and the other 3 budgies seemed to be a lot more happier.

You do what you can.
I'm sure Mr Noisy will get a loving home.

I found somebody who might be interested in adopting MR Noisy who has aviaries plus other birds so fingers crossed MR Noisy will be getting a good home.
Yesterday tweety stepped up onto my finger for the first time. I am so happy I didn't think it would happen this quick. I was playing with a chopstick with the budgies gently touching there beaks with it. I can get very close to Jessie now as well without her moving away from me and I can almost touch her beak with my finger. Mango is still very wary of me at the moment he seems to be the more nervous bird. I never thought I would make this much progress in such a short time.

It's marvellous when they are happy for even a limited form of physical contact.
Good luck to Mr Noisy, I hope the best for him.

When I first got Tweeey I was convinced she was female even the pet shop said she was female and she chirped like a female but now she has turned into a male her chirp changed and now she sings with Mango. I gave them some hay today they go crazy for it so I've stuffed some hay into some of there toys.

Yesterday when I got home I noticed tweety had been pecked on his forehead with blood so there has been a fight at some stage. He seems to be ok this morning chirping away happily. Luckily its not to bad and the small wound is healing over.

Tweeties wounds are healing and I have not witnessed any fighting so far. MR Noisy has been rehomed.
Its been very hot and humid over the past couple of days and the air quality hasn't been so good. I have discovered Mango has been plucking himself quite a lot with his feathers all over the place. All the doors and windows have been open all day to let in some fresh air.Twwety and Jessie are responding to training pretty well but Mango isn't happy I think its been a bit to humid for him.

Oh poor Mango. Any idea why he has been plucking himself?
I hope Mr Noisy is happy in his new home.

I aired out the room yesterday. My neighbor likes to burn lots of incense sometimes so that has probably contributed to it. I know incense can be toxic to birds. I have aired out the room yesterday and there has been no more of Mangoes feathers in the cage. He is eating and chirps a little but still quiet for the most part.

Mango hasn't pecked out anymore feathers since. I have noticed that all three budgies are itching and preening a lot.My first thought was that maybe they have fleas but I can't see anything moving about on them. According to google fleas in budgies is extremely rare. There is a pigeons nest just outside the living room door... I wonder if anything from that is affecting the budgies?
