Almost there, meshed, painted and main perches in . I will only be putting 5 birds in here steve, i would keep 8 max but that would only be when i have the outside flight in place later in the summer .

Thank you all , he was allowed a pat on the back, just a little one . He loves a bit of woodwork and i think he has secretly enjoyed it , even though he has been out there since 9 o'clock this morning in freezing rain , bless him. Im looking forward to my bit now, decorating and kitting it out with swings,ropes and pretty things .

Skysmum.....what size dowels are the perches that skysdad made to fit in the flight area ? hope you don't mind me copying but it has given me an idea for when the time is to fit out my indoor flight room. I have some spare 9mm dowel that I would like to use, wondered if it was the same. cheers

OH thinks, without measuring that they are 12mm but 9mm would be fine. That was actually made from the wooden clothes airer that i have been using for them to play on indoors, i just took it all apart and made that, ive made a large double swing with another piece too .
