suesbird they do, i go in with their fruit and veg in the morning and they look at me as if to say, yes...just leave it there and go milliej its a price i have to pay for being greedy and having 7, i just haven't the space in the house to keep them when the conservatory heats up so its 6 months in and six months out @op i bought a new one in the sale

That is really fantastic skysmum. Both you and your OH have done a brilliant job. I'm really envious (in a nice way). All the buds look really at home already.

Thanks all, im still fiddling about with it. I just realised today that they have no flat surfaces in there to rest their little legs and do some planking so i will sort that tomorrow. There is one positive thing to it, i now look forward to the long dark winters when i can bring my little rays of sunshine in again and ive still got my old guys to spoil indoors .

Yep been faffing about with it again today, will be on going i think . OH made some new perch's mixing in a few flat ones, these little units fold up and down when i want to get in and clean. Ive also added their planks so that they can have a little lay down which they often do . Im using wood shavings at the moment steve, i would prefer to use bird sand with crushed oyster shell, i tried this in my other aviary and they loved it, it also brought them down to the bottom to forage around. I have a larger area to cover in this one though so im looking at the best most cost effective place to buy it.
